When Citizen Advocates broke ground for its newest outpatient Behavioral Health Campus in Watertown, the ceremony was a celebration of two important milestones. Firstly, it meant the availability of around-the-clock, life-saving treatment for mental health and addiction services for the community. Secondly, it meant the expansion of Citizen Advocates’ service area, which now spans from Lake Champlain in the east to Lake Ontario in the west.
Whether it’s in the clinic setting or in the community, the services offered through the Watertown Behavioral Health Campus are tailored to provide individuals with the right care in the right place at the right time.
The Watertown Behavioral Health Campus will offer a robust range of outpatient mental health and addiction services, and pending final approval, 24-hour access to behavioral health urgent care—no appointment needed. Crisis residence services will soon be added to provide overnight stays for mental health or addiction support on a completely voluntary basis.
